At NSF we have four parties, three of which are with a theme.
Our themed parties are designed to bring an extra spark to the festival. Dressing according to the theme is a key part of the experience, so be sure to check the full details and guidelines below.
We have a strict dress code to ensure that everyone is on theme and the vibe stays just right, especially for the Saturday night party.
Get ready for unforgettable nights filled with great music, dancing, and plenty of fun!

T-Shirt Night Alert!
This time, it’s not just about the steps—it’s about the stories behind them.
For our Friday party, we’re inviting you to rock your favorite personalized dance event t-shirt — the one that holds memories, friendships, and maybe even a few sore feet.
Whether it’s from your first festival or your most recent dance adventure, wear it proud! Let it spark conversations, inspire travel, and celebrate the global dance community we all love.
Let’s connect, dance, and share the journeys that brought us here — one t-shirt at a time.
See you on the dance floor!
Twenties Party
Join us for a roaring 1920’s Party on Saturday night! If you’re still in need of some outfit inspiration, we’ve got you covered! Here are some 1920’s fashion trends that will help you put together the perfect Gatsby-inspired ensemble.
Ladies think “glitz and glam”, dress as a flapper, put on some color or just dress as a silent movie star, and bring back Charlie’s era to Napoca Swing Festival’s Saturday night thematic party. No outfit is complete without proper accessorizing! For a true flapper-inspired look, try a beaded or feather headband. Long gloves, and drop earrings were also popular accessories for 1920s parties wear.
For the gents, it’s all about class and sophistication. To get the prohibition vibe you can dress as a gangster or wear lighter and brighter colors. Striped dress shirts in a variety of colors (including tan, green, blue, lilac, and peach), as well as white trousers and a navy blue blazer. Complete the look with suspenders, and a snazzy striped or polka dot bowtie. And, don’t forget the must-have 1920s men’s accessory: a hat.
Accessories for the party can also be bought form our local merchandiser (check our Merchandise).
We put down some ideas to help you get inspired. 🙂

La Blouse Romaine
“Sânziene” in the Romanian mythology relate to some fairies of extraordinary beauty that live in the woods and some open fields. When the night comes they get together to sing and dance. Their joy gives magical attributes to the plants nearby that will be able to heal certain affections. Also, the grain in that fields will ripe soon and girls around will soon find their match. But if their celebration is not honored, they say, Sânzienele may ally with their wicked sisters “Rusalii” and bring sickness and bad luck around.
The festive day is similar to the Swedish Midsummer holiday, and it is believed to be a pagan celebration of the summer solstice in June. According to the Romanian Orthodox Church the customs relate to the celebration of Saint John the Baptist’s Nativity.
For our last day at NSF, being in the middle of nature at the lavender farm, we thought of celebrating by dressing up in linen clothes and other pieces from the Romanian folklore.
So, if you have any linen clothing (blouse, pants, dress, vest), we invite you to wear it joyfully at the dinner and the party.
